Inglewood Park Cemetery takes seriously its obligation to its heritage, its present, and its future, to maintain the beauty and condition of its facilities.
In recent years, the eighty-year-old Mausoleum of the Golden West has begun to show her age, including the fading of the hand-painted beams in the Galleria. Recognizing the the deterioration of this wonderful feature we hired a local artist, Alejandro Cruz, to repaint the beams.
The photos above show the state of fading and water damage before, and the refurbishment process. Mr. Cruz has has been working on this project for many months, finding it a relaxing break from his Master of Fine Arts work at the University of California at Fullerton.
